Argentina vs. Egypt

Dear Reader,
Traffic was backed up this morning as people left work and school to get to a local bar or cafe, a friend’s house, or their own home to see the game. Argentina is playing Egypt.
Now the streets are empty and every so often I hear a cheer or loud cry go up.
Vendors sold Argentine flags and merchandise on the side of the road.
The club manager where I have a show scheduled on Saturday called me last night.
“Listen”, he said. “If Argentina wins the game, please God, we’ll be playing again on Saturday at 10pm…if that’s the case I think we’d better cancel because no one, and I mean no one, will be coming out to a show.”.
I agreed.
In other news, my computer conked out on me over the weekend, so I’m writing from my phone! A young guy with LOVE tattooed across his fingers, and a nose ring checked my laptop into his workshop.
“I’ll text you tomorrow with a diagnosis.”, he said.
